Steve Polski is a seasoned global executive, entrepreneur, and supply chain strategist with nearly four decades of leadership across agriculture, food systems, energy, and logistics. As a Founder and CEO of Pergena Systems (dba PermanentFarming), he is pioneering the integration of livestock production with renewable energy and regenerative agriculture—transforming cattle operations into scalable platforms for producing food, fuel, and soil fertility. Known for his ability to move rapidly from strategy to execution, Polski has built a career aligning complex, multi-stakeholder supply chains to unlock new value and drive sustainable growth.

Prior to co-founding Pergena Systems, Polski held leadership roles at Cargill, where he led global supply chain transformation, corporate sustainability strategy, and business development initiatives across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. During his tenure, he helped generate millions of dollars in value through operational improvements, commercial strategy, and sustainability-driven innovation. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Andersen Corporation, where he led large-scale logistics and distribution transformations, delivering significant cost savings and operational efficiencies across complex enterprise systems.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Polski is an active entrepreneur in the agriculture and energy sectors. He is the founder of Live Better Beef and Live Better Capital, where he advises in next-generation food and protein platforms, including projects backed by major industry players such as Walmart. Across his career, Polski has consistently operated at the intersection of food, energy, and sustainability—building businesses and partnerships designed to reshape global supply chains and create long-term economic and environmental value. Outside of work, Polski volunteers his time with Living Well and The Dunamis Initiative.
